SUNDAY WORSHIP

How Should I Dress?
You’ll see a wide variety of clothing ranging from “Sunday dress” to more casual fare. Dress as you feel most comfortable.

What time should I get there?
Worship begins at 10:30 AM. We encourage you to arrive a little ahead of that so that we can greet you and help you find a seat.

What will the music be like?
The music in the service is led by vocal and instrumental ensembles and the pipe organ is the primary instrument used to accompany, but the style of music spans many centuries and many styles, from Renaissance to Gospel.

Do I need to know anything ahead of time?
No! We provide a worship bulletin that will guide you through the service which is based on Reformed/Presbyterian patterns of worship striking a balance between traditional order and modern language.

Can I take Communion with the congregation?
We typically celebrate the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper (Holy Communion) once a month. As Presbyterians we believe in an “open table” meaning that all are welcome to participate in the sacrament, regardless of your church background.

What if I need a little extra help?
We are happy to provide hearing assistance devices and large print hymnals. An usher will be pleased to assist you.

CHILDREN’S CHURCH

CHILDREN 3 years of age through first grade are welcome at the beginning of worship to hear the children’s sermon and then may proceed with a volunteer to the Bullard Building for Children’s Church. Parents may pick up their child(ren) from the Bullard Building following the service. (This is worded such that it seems children are not welcome to remain with their parents but are expected to leave?)

CAN’T BE HERE FOR WORSHIP IN PERSON?

Our worship services are streamed to our YouTube channel. Follow along with a bulletin! You can find a church bulletin in the weekly church email.

While nothing can replace worshipping together in person, we hope you will join us either way!

YOUTH ALSO LEAD

One of our most anticipated Sundays is “YOUTH SUNDAY”!
Our youth prepare worship on this day by selecting and leading all aspects of worship through music, liturgy and sermons offered from their own experience.
