Playing Instruments
Our worship is enriched by instrumental music played by our pipe organ, and by piano, handbells, and other instruments. If you play an instrument and wish to explore the possibility of playing in worship or for other events, please contact Randy Sheets.
For information about any of our music programs, contact Randy Sheets, our Director of Music Ministries.
“Let everything that breathes praise the Lord!
SINGING
Our choirs lead us in worship by supporting the congregation’s song and in offering anthems to God’s glory and for the edification of the congregation; in preparation to do so, choir members are students of singing, musicianship skills, and the Christian faith.
HANDBELLS
Bell ringing requires from each person a team spirit and an awareness of not only one’s own part, but how one’s part fits into the whole.
ORGANS
We have two organs: one is the Moeller Organ in the sanctuary, the other is the H. Brown Wallace Memorial Organ in the Chapel.
REFLECTIONS ON MUSIC AND WORSHIP
Thoughts about the deep commitment to guiding our music ministries in the light of the Gospel, a Gospel that frees us through discipleship to Christ.
