Sunday Worship

We invite you to join us this Sunday, December 21, for Love Sunday, the fourth and final Sunday of Advent, a day when we remember the deep and abiding love of God, who chooses to draw near to us.

Before worship, we hope you’ll come early for one of our most cherished traditions: the Children’s Christmas Pageant at 9:45 AM. Through costumes and wonder, our children will help us see the nativity story with fresh eyes and open hearts.

In worship, our scriptures, Isaiah 7:10–16 and Matthew 1:18–25, invite us into the promise of Emmanuel, “God With Us.” The sermon, titled “God With Us,” will explore the courage, grace, and love at the center of this holy story, reminding us that God meets us right where we are, offering presence and hope that transforms everything.

Come as you are, and join us as we prepare our hearts to welcome Love made flesh.

Friday December 12 the Mission Committee provided Breakfast for the Staff at Mary B. Austin School.

December 21- We all know the lyrical power of music. In a recent issue of Presbyterian Outlook, the editors posed the question: “What music are you listening to these days and why?” As we move into the fourth Sunday of Advent, think about what music meets you where you are when you think about Hope, Love, Joy, and Peace? What lifts you up? Gives you comfort? Inspires you to action? Make a list and bring it to share.

Once again it is time to make our sanctuary bloom. If you have volunteered to donate flowers on the Time and Talent forms, please contact Ann Magee 251-232-2646 or email: [email protected], to reserve a date. Dates are already filling up for 2026. Each week we need members to contribute around $75.00 in memory or in honor of a loved one. We want to keep fresh flowers displayed for all to celebrate the goodness that God provides in our lives. If you would consider donating, please contact Ann Magee.

Every year, Spring Hill Presbyterian’s Alternative Gift market gives people the change to give something really special to family and friends. You can donate in someone’s name to local nonprofits like Boys & Girls Clubs of South Alabama, Family Promise of Coastal Alabama, McKemie Place, Penelope House, Victory Health Partners, Home of Grace for Women , Wings of Life, as well as International agencies Heifer International and The Presbyterian Mission Agency (PCUSA).
